Summary of Position: The Business
Development Specialist is responsible for generating leads and
identifying potential opportunities for Taos services through daily
calling activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Represent Taos in a professional and courteous manner
- Make a high volume of calls per day to promote Taos services and produce qualified leads
- Answer basic questions that prospects may have in regards to Taos and our services
- Coordinate and schedule meetings for prospects and Business Development Executives
- Follow up on prospective leads
- Gather market insight through calling efforts by determining patterns and market trends
- Add/ Update contact and company information in the database
- Document the activity of each phone conversation into the database
Requirements:
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and great phone presence
- Must be motivated to perform a repetitive task
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced sales environment
- Comfortable cold calling prospects
